Agriturismo Podere Gozzuto

It's a lovely spot and very well located, though the road up to the farmhouse is a bit bumpy. A weekend works fine here. I'd lean toward visiting in summer, since winter means staying inside the apartment and missing out on that nice outdoor space. The cooking gear is basic, so with more than three people, bring a big pan or you'll struggle with seasoning and side dishes.

Francesca is very kind and helpful, and the owners are too. The apartments are clean, welcoming, and carefully maintained, with enough separation to give guests good privacy. The grounds and guest park are kept up well, and there's a barbecue available. Guests also have covered parking, and the management is meticulous.

Clean, spacious apartments, a great pool and outdoor grill, and the property is ideally placed for getting to the area's best beaches. It's really well equipped too. The disappointing part was the owner’s response when I mentioned that the apartment's washing machine was very poor quality and had broken on its first use. The owner admitted it had already been replaced the year before, but wasn't very courteous about it. Such a shame, I would've come back...

We spent 12 days at Podere Gozzuto, surrounded by Maremma's fields and olive groves. It's a beautiful farm, tastefully renovated, with spacious apartments that have everything you need. The pool is large and clean, and the quiet evenings under the stars more than make up for being a bit far from the sea. It's a wonderful place to unwind with your pets as well as yourself. Mr. Giulio, the owner, is so friendly and hospitable. Only sad part was having to go home at the end!
