You’re right in the center of Gela, close to shops and restaurants, and the room works well for a few days. It had a double bed, mini-fridge, and balcony, and was tidy and well maintained. You’ll need to sort out your own meals, though there are plenty of restaurants nearby.

This experience dates back to December 2023. The location is good and central, but we waited over half an hour for the owner to arrive and welcome us, even though I’d given plenty of notice about our arrival time. The rooms were on floors with no elevator, and the stairs were steep and tiring with heavy luggage. The room wasn’t spotlessly clean, and the bedspreads were stained. They were replaced, but I only filed a complaint after a day. Breakfast wasn’t served on site. We had to go a long way to a bar and tobacconist, where the only seating was outside, in December. The owner also called me capricious for making complaints. Poor value for money. I don’t recommend it.

Very clean B&B in a great location. But for €75 in the off-season, the value was very average. The room felt dated, the shutter wouldn’t close fully, and breakfast was just a croissant and coffee at a tobacco bar five minutes away. Too expensive for what you get.

A lovely place to spend a relaxing evening.
