That was probably the worst meal we ate in Italy. This is the closest restaurant to Grotto di Frassasi, and they hand out flyers for it there. We figured the menu looked promising and wanted to support a small local business. The grilled lamb was mostly fat, and the veal steak had no taste. Even the salt, pepper, and olive oil came in little airline-style sachets. For what we got, it was a terrible and expensive meal. Stay away.
After visiting the caves we stopped here. The waitress was really kind and spoke English, which was the only good part. The food was awful, with tiny, over-toasted portions for way too much money. Avoid it.

We'd read some bad reviews on the way here and were a bit discouraged, but we ended up pleasantly surprised. The staff were polite, service was quick, and the food was very good. The place is definitely dated, not a modern restaurant. We ordered steak with vegetables and a truffle raviolo that was absolutely huge. The price was more than fair, and the owner was attentive, stopping by our table often to check if we needed anything. Sorry to hear others had a bad time, but ours went really well. We'd recommend it. Good luck!
