We especially miss the black dog who greeted us so warmly each time we came back. Ibe and Armando are excellent hosts and gave us wonderful hospitality and lots of suggestions for things to do, from hiking around Marche and visiting the cave to wine tasting or taking a day trip to a nearby old city. And even if you do nothing, the homestay's breathtaking hill views are a joy. Highly recommend for a relaxing trip!

Beautiful and peaceful place, with friendly hosts and tip-top apartments.

The Tower was our apartment, and it was spacious, with two floors and two bedrooms, a good setup if you want some privacy. The lower floor has a fully equipped kitchen with two induction hobs, oven, microwave, kettle, and toaster, along with a double bedroom and a bathroom with a very comfortable shower. Upstairs is a larger double bedroom and a terrace with breathtaking 360-degree views of the valley and the Frasassi Gorge. In the morning, the mountains floating in the mist are especially evocative. La Fenice e il Lupo is a rustic-vintage retreat for anyone after absolute quiet and relaxation. Even TVs are banned, though the internet works excellently for those who can't do without their tablets or phones. It's in a tiny hamlet, with not even a car passing by. Sassoferrato, the closest place for shopping or entertainment, is a six-minute drive away. The apartment is thoughtfully put together with vintage touches, from the radio to the damask armchairs. It also has cleaning products, oil, salt, coffee, and herbal teas ready for your arrival. You can buy wine or artisanal pasta from a local organic farm on site. Armando, the owner and a park guide, is a lovely, friendly, helpful host, happy to share the information you need to enjoy your vacation. Excellent value for money. Recommended if you want a welcoming, well-kept place to unwind and save a little by cooking at home.

The apartment had everything, with care taken over every little detail, and Armando made us feel at home and looked after. He also gave us great suggestions for things to see and do in this beautiful area. It's a shame our vacation was so short. The place is enchanting, tucked among the rolling hills of the Marche hinterland, and we'd love to come back. Highly recommended!
