Hotel AHG Riva Del Sole Hotel - Adults Only

I came for a girls’ getaway and was pleasantly surprised by both the hotel and its location. The staff were amazing and happy to help with anything. The views are perfect, and it’s an easy walk uphill to food or downhill to the beach.

Getting around the area from here isn't ideal. We found it easier to go through Desenzano first and continue from there. The hotel itself is good and clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful.

The room was spacious, very clean, and had all the comforts we wanted. We slept really well in the comfortable bed, and that beautiful view made the stay feel special. The hotel is elegant but still cozy, with a calm atmosphere and everything kept immaculate. From arrival, the staff were attentive, cheerful, and made us feel at home while still looking after us so well. We’re grateful for such a lovely experience.

The food was a real highlight for us. There were two dishes to choose from each time, with plenty of seafood as well as meat options. I especially enjoyed the Catalan shrimp and stuffed eggplant. The staff were all kind and ready to help. We stayed five nights as part of a group. Our room was tidy and very clean, and the balcony looked out over Lake Garda. The pool was also spotless, with lots of room to lounge around. The air conditioning worked well, the curtains made the room nearly dark enough for comfortable sleep, and each guest had three towels, replaced when requested. A few things could be better: the shower water was warm rather than properly hot, the elevator was very slow and seemed due for renovation, and the balcony door handle was coming loose, so closing the door took some effort. It was clear the hotel renovation is still underway. Even with those issues, I hope to return on my own sometime.
