I’d give this hotel zero stars if I could. I don’t recommend it at all. I had booked two nights and arrived at 9 pm, but the hotel was shut. I tried calling and messaging, with no answer. Since I had suitcases and it was too late for a woman on her own to search around for somewhere else, I had to book a night at Bristol. I’d planned to spend my second night at this hotel, but the owner cancelled my whole reservation in the morning and kept the money. I was still in Genoa that second night and had planned to stay there, since I’d already paid. Instead, I had to pay again for another place, so I ended up paying twice for accommodation in Genoa. I travel regularly, and I’ve never encountered such disgraceful treatment from a hotel.

I booked at short notice and the central location was great. The room was clean and had its own bathroom, and I slept comfortably.

We were delayed on the train, and the host refused to let us into the room. At the last minute we had to find somewhere else to stay, and we weren’t reimbursed. I’ve never had worse service from a hotel. The host was highly unprofessional. It’s sad to see this kind of behaviour in such a beautiful country. Be careful and avoid this place.

The location is a real plus, right near the lovely city centre. The rooms are decent, but the linen schedule was frustrating: they only change the bedsheets every three days and provide towels every two.

The service was very friendly, and the room was clean. The street-facing side gets a little noisy, though it was okay. There’s no breakfast. It’s a good alternative, but prices get relatively high during exhibitions.
