We could hear the dog next door through much of the day, and there was a lot of shouting and music from the neighbors over the weekend. You can also hear the upstairs neighbors walking, though that part didn't bother us. The apartment itself is lovely, central in Genoa, spacious, and clean. A few things could use attention: paint is peeling from the bathroom cabinet, the shower door isn't very clean, and new wine glasses, an iron, and an ironing board would be welcome. Even with the noise, we'd definitely come back.

The flat is okay, though there's room for some improvements. Parking is almost impossible to find, and I couldn't get hold of the owner when it mattered. Reply to the owner: Three colleagues and I stayed at the apartment on Via Oneto from April 8th to 11th. When we were leaving, the door was locked with the keys inside. We called the owner repeatedly from 8:00 AM until 11:00 AM and got no answer. We had to sort it out alone, on a Sunday morning in a city where we didn't know anyone we could rely on. That was very inconvenient. This is my own experience, and I stand by what I wrote. Best regards.

Parking was a hassle, and the neighbors were extremely loud for much of the night. Still, I'd recommend the place. The apartment was very clean and thoughtfully laid out, with a well-equipped kitchen, fridge, oven, stovetop, and cooking utensils. Bathroom spotless, bedrooms impeccable, and the owner was very friendly.
