Our trip was impossible after the airport strike canceled our flight that day. The cancellation wasn't even listed at the airport or on the airline's website, and there were no flights available that day or the next. It was completely outside our control, and we couldn't reach our destination, so we missed my wife's birthday trip. The property charged the full €200 for all three nights and refused even a partial refund. They also don't answer the phone or return messages. Maybe they deliberately ignored mine, but either way, this was unreasonable, unprofessional, and unacceptable.

The setting is out in nature on a hill, with a spectacular view, and B&B Genova Country is a welcoming, comfortable place. It's about 15 km from the first beaches, both east and west. The A7 Genova Bolzaneto motorway makes it easy to reach. There’s a wide terrace, parking and a parking space, free Wi-Fi, heating, a smoking area, and the option to come back at any hour. The private bathroom is outside the room. Rooms have a hairdryer, internet access and a TV, and a children's bed is available on request. The property can host up to three travelers. Breakfast is served each morning, and four-legged friends are welcome. The hosts can share a guide and directions for exploring the area. Nearby, there are cultural attractions, sports, leisure, shopping, events and places to relax. The stay may suit families wanting home comforts and services for children, people traveling for work, couples on a romantic break, guests looking for a discreet, refined wellness setting, or anyone after the quiet of nature away from the city. The hosts can provide information in Italian, English and French.

We felt welcome straight away. Our hostess showed up right on time, offered us coffee, then kindly and helpfully answered all our questions.
