Getting to the apartment was easy thanks to the private elevator, which connects it with both the bus stop and the funicular. We also loved the cake at breakfast. The apartment was clean, tidy, comfortable, and welcoming, and the owner was so kind and made sure we had all the information we needed. The price felt completely fair. We’ll be back!

The historic building has quite a few stairs on the way up, and the view is mostly of surrounding buildings. There’s just a glimpse from the little balcony off one bedroom. Still, the apartment is spacious, well equipped, and has comfortable beds, plus that balcony. The owners are very friendly and helpful, and even left us a cake for arrival. It’s on the uphill edge of the old town, but getting around is simple. A private elevator across from the entrance takes you down a few streets in seconds. The free Funicolare lift, which is basically a metro, runs about every fifteen minutes, down to the old town or up the hill. There’s a small supermarket, restaurants, San Nicola ice cream shop, a good bakery for focaccia, and the lift right outside. The apartment stays quiet while still being close to everything. Highly recommended.

The apartment was beautiful, new, and spotless, with all the comforts we needed. We stayed as a family for a city event and really enjoyed the peaceful, green setting. The owner was kind, friendly, and helpful. The center is just a short walk away, or you can get there faster on the characteristic cable car. Recommended.

I loved the care put into the decor and all the little details, and the place was spotless. The location is excellent, only a stone’s throw from the center, and the owners were incredibly courteous and helpful. It’s one of the best B&Bs I’ve stayed in, with great value for money. I already know where I’ll stay next time I’m in Genoa.
