There are plenty of grocery stores, cafés, restaurants, and bars within a minute, so you won't go hungry. The location is also nicely placed between the railway station and the city center, but far enough from the noisy central areas that you can get some sleep. Alessia, our host, was so helpful and friendly. She gave us restaurant and bar tips in Genoa that were better than what we found in guides or articles. She speaks Italian, English, French, and German, and probably more. She even helped me put together a small but lovely birthday celebration for my girlfriend. The room had AC, a TV, WiFi, a small fridge, a couple of mirrors, a big bed (I'm 1.83m), and a private bathroom with a shower and bidet. I'd happily choose this place again!

The owner was extremely helpful, and the rooms were clean and really nice. The location was perfect, quiet but still within walking distance of the tourist attractions.

The host made us feel very welcome. The rooms had everything we needed, and you're close to central Genoa with everything reachable on foot. We'd be glad to come back.

Downtown is at most a 20-minute walk away, and Brignole train station is nearby. It's a very nice place to stay while sightseeing or on a business trip. Mr. Alessandria is very welcoming and pays a lot of attention to each guest. Highly recommend.
