Doria House 23 (Adults Only)

The room I had came with a fantastic ocean view, and the hosts, Antonella and Carlo, were wonderful and helpful. Doria House 23 is a great option for couples. My room was spacious, with a queen size bed, TV, and cute decor. The large bathroom was well furnished and had a tub/shower. Antonella spoke great English and took time to go over a map with me, pointing out places to visit, restaurants, and details about the apartment. It's about a 15 minute walk from the train station, but the place sits roughly 100 meters up a steep hill. If you're carrying a lot of luggage or a large bag, you may want to take a taxi. There's not much to do near the room, but the subway is at the bottom of the hill for getting around quickly.

It's a beautiful historic building, and both owners are kind and helpful. The room and bathroom are spacious, but their layout isn't very practical. For breakfast, there's a tray outside with crackers, pastries, packaged biscuits, plates, cutlery, and coffee pods, but not much space to sit things down. The room and bathroom aren't cleaned during the stay, and the bed isn't made either. The amenities could be better.

The hosts were warm and helpful, and the room was quiet, roomy, and had a fantastic view. Just be ready for a steep uphill walk from the station. I’d happily recommend it.

Getting into town on foot takes about 15 minutes, and there’s free parking included. Our private bathroom was spacious and had a bathtub. The owners were very accommodating, and the room’s view was incredible. We had a really enjoyable stay.
