The best part of our stay was Francesca. She was friendly, helpful, and always had an answer, whether we wanted directions, transport options, activity ideas, or a nearby place to get my nails done. The restaurants she suggested were yummy, and her tip to visit the Cinque Terres was spot on. She was in touch before we arrived to make sure we could get there without trouble, then greeted us and helped us plan. Our room was amazing, very clean and organized, with fresh, modern decor, environmentally friendly amenities, and great air conditioning. If you want an authentic place right in the middle of the Old Town with a great host, stay here. We had the best accommodation experience. Francesca and her B & B deserve an excellent score. Thank you!

The owner is welcoming, friendly, and helpful, and keeps the place spotless. In a large apartment in an old block, she has recently refurbished three en-suite rooms to a very high standard, with a great eye for interior design. The rooms are well equipped with everything you might need. Most of the old town is within walking distance, and cheap, often free, public transport is just around the corner if you'd rather not walk.

The hostess thought of every detail and went out of her way for us, including helping with special requests and arranging a birthday cake from the best paticery in town. Her tips for Genova were spot on, and we had a wonderful time, largely because of this stay. The room looked out on a beautiful church and square, and the location in the middle of the ancient port was excellent. Breakfast was amazing, the design was beautiful, and the air conditioning worked great. There was a coffee machine and cold water available, plus a pillow manu and so much more. Highly recommended!

The only snag was the elevator, which starts one flight up. Once you get past that and through the magic door, though, you're in for a treat. The rooms are quiet and spacious, and the staff were really helpful and accommodating. You're right by Genova harbor, close to lots of good places to eat, the Ferris Wheel, and Eataly - Fine grocery items and restaurants. Famous cathedrals, museums, and shops are all an easy walk away. There's also great pesto, bread, gelato, and fresh pasta, plus dinner with live music and colorful sunsets. Then it's just a short walk back to your room.

Francesca sorted out everything for us. Our flight was early, and although check-in was meant to be at 15, she let us in at 12:30. When the key didn't work, she came downstairs to help. After 10 pm, I messaged her on WhatsApp asking where to catch the boat to Portofino. She replied right away with several fliers, a map, and another map marked with an arrow showing which boat to take. When my partner got sick, she called an ambulance. She also booked a taxi to pick me up at the front of the hotel for the airport, told me the fare so I could decide, and left the printed reservation on the door handle while I was out. Each morning there were different sweets on the table, all free. We also had water, coffee, and tea at our disposal, even though they weren't included in the room charge. The pleasant rooms had AC, three pillow types, slippers, and a hair drier, all free of charge. The location was perfect, near the port, bus, and old town. The owner speaks English very well, which is worth considering since staff at another friends' hotel I passed by couldn't speak English at all. This was the best service I've ever had at a stay. Anyone can turn an apartment into accommodation, but it takes talent and love for the work to give the kind of service we received.
