Grand Hotel Mediterranée

We had a lovely sea view from our room, which made mornings special. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and the hotel was very family-friendly. Breakfast was delicious and fresh, served nicely, with something for everyone. We will definitely return!

The room had a nice view, and at least the ants weren't on the bed. Once outside, there's a good restaurant and cafe. Still, I’d only pick this place if I found a cheap deal and needed somewhere to sleep and shower. Otherwise, I’d look elsewhere. It felt like the sort of place that does as little as possible while charging as much as possible. It's old and poorly maintained. If something in your room breaks, don't expect a repair. Ants were coming up through the floorboards even though I'd just arrived, and I wasn't offered another room. I paid for breakfast, which included access to a water dispenser. I'd been told to avoid tap water, so I went to get a cup from the dining area before bed. On my third night the receptionist said I couldn't do that and had to buy chilled water from the vending machine. When I pointed out that I had the same water at breakfast, he said the area was forbidden after breakfast. Bad service, run down but clean, with a slight ant problem.

The location was amazing, and I liked the breakfast too. The hotel itself was nothing special, just the basics. For a price around 100 euro, I expected to get a decent night's rest, but I didn't really feel rested after sleeping there.

Our room had a view, and we appreciated it a lot. The location is excellent, although this stretch of the Riviera has become industrial. The hotel itself is old and needs refurbishing. Our room was basic, but we weren't expecting much more from a three-star place. Parking is behind the hotel and much needed, since there isn't any parking in the area. Breakfast was OK.
