Happy Family Apartments Incantesimo

The Palazzo Imperiale is a beautiful place to stay if you want to explore the centro storico and take in its architecture. San Giorgio station is only minutes away, with a quick ride to Brignole. Our property was spotless, and the staff were friendly and easy to reach. 10/10.

The apartment was a little hard to find at first. Once we did, my wife, son and I were amazed by how spacious, lovely and clean it was. We felt very safe there, and all the amenities and sights were close by. The Aquarium is nearby too and definitely worth a visit.

The apartment was dirty and untidy, and we had a terrible experience with happy family Apartments and the staff. Our son was attacked and bitten by vermin in one of the rooms, and we have pictures. Staff offered to move him to another apartment but said we'd have to pay extra. Absolutely not. I wouldn't recommend booking here.

The worst part was the noise. Our windows didn't close properly, so street sounds on the third floor were unbearable: people yelling until 3 AM, supermarket workers restocking at 7, and construction across from the flat starting before 7. We complained to Happy Family and showed them the issue, but they said nobody else in the building had complained and didn't believe us. We were exhausted all day, and because of how they treated us, I won't use Happy Family apartments again. Unless you're a very deep sleeper, I wouldn't book this place. We stayed eight nights from late July into early August, two adults, two teenagers and a child. The location was okay, though not perfect, on the edge of a relatively rough port area, with lots of tourists passing through, probably from cruise ships. Parking was impossible, and loading or unloading suitcases was complicated. The small balcony was covered in bird droppings, so we couldn't use it. There were some good points: high ceilings, comfortable beds, air conditioning, two separate bedrooms plus a foldable bed, and two bathrooms. It felt newly refurbished and was relatively well equipped, with a good oven, microwave and gas hob. Carrefour Express and the Superba pizza place were just 30 seconds away. There was no coffee machine, only a strange Italian coffee pot, the air conditioning wasn't easy to use even for someone who works in tech, and the TV was very small and cheap.
