The rooms are basic, but very clean, and the staff are really friendly. The hotel sits in a lovely, quiet, green part of Genoa, with the center an enjoyable walk or just a few minutes away by car. Tennis players will find a synthetic court there too.

The location is the hotel's main plus, especially if you want somewhere very quiet. Otherwise, it's a standard, somewhat dated hotel without any particular highs or problems. A double room isn't worth more than €100 per night, in my view. Breakfast has limited options but is acceptable. The bed is huge and fairly comfortable. Sound insulation isn't standard, though, so how much noise you hear depends on your neighbors.

The free parking is a real plus in Genoa, where finding a spot isn't easy. With renovations, this property could be quite interesting. The rooms are spacious but not welcoming, the beds are uncomfortable and the bathrooms are best forgotten. Breakfast was poor.
