I’ve been studying with Virginia for a year, and she’s the best. My husband and son joined me on my first stay, and although they weren’t there for lessons, they had plenty to do nearby with short day trips while I studied. I loved it so much that I returned the next summer, and I’m coming back again this summer. I also Skype with her once a week. She’s a real teacher, and her family is lovely. I can’t wait to return. I can’t believe it took me so long to write this review.

We felt completely at home with Virginia at Poggiobono. She was a wonderful, very kind host and suggested some interesting places to visit. We had a really nice time there. Highly recommended.

The hilltop location just outside Marsiliana is beautiful. Rooms are cozy and clean, and the host takes good care of things. Unfortunately, breakfast isn’t provided.

The family made us feel right at home in their beautiful guesthouse. The scenery among the rolling hills is enchanting, and the Argentario sea isn’t far away. We’ll leave the rest as a lovely surprise. Thank you for having us.

We wanted a quiet break from city life, and this green oasis in nature was just right, less than two hours from Rome. The hosts were fantastic, courteous, friendly, welcoming, and helpful. There’s plenty to see nearby, including the Tarot Garden, the Saturnia hot springs, medieval villages like Capalbio and Magliano, and excellent food and wine. Thanks, Virginia, for a lovely vacation. We’ll be back to see you soon.
