Hotel Brignole

The reception staff were very polite and helpful, and the location near the railway station made it easy to get around. The rooms and the rest are pretty basic, so it’s okay, nothing more.

There wasn’t much of a view from the room, and the hotel sits a little outside the city center, though it’s still a short walk away. There’s an okay beach close by. Service was good, rooms were clean, and it felt like decent value for the money. There are several parking options nearby.

Hotel Brignole is lively and affordable, and I enjoyed my stay in Genoa. The gentlemen at reception were so kind, friendly, and helpful. It’s right across from Brignole station, which was handy for my trips around Genoa, and very close to the city’s most popular shopping street. This is my go-to hotel from now on ☺️

The room was pleasant, though it had a bit of an old furniture smell, and the shower head was dingy and could use some attention. Still, we had a really nice stay. The location is central and close to the train station, although the way there felt a little crowded with motorcycles. The staff made a strong impression. They let us rest in the lobby while waiting for our rooms and checked us in very early because of the awful weather. They were welcoming, full of helpful tips, and gave us a clear map of the city. If you want a nice place that doesn’t cost too much, this is a good option.
