I can't stand these improvised B&Bs in apartment buildings. The welcome was cold, and I wasn't given a receipt for the stay. Even the doorbell only has the owner's surname on it, with no mention of a B&B. If someone wants to run a business, they need to remember that TAXES HAVE TO BE PAID!!

What a stay to forget. The B&B is in a historic building, which is a shame, because the owner seems to have no idea what privacy means. He uses the rented apartment as his office and even uses the bathrooms in the guest rooms.

A nice B&B in a large apartment on Via San Vincenzo in Genoa, close to Brignole station. The rooms are spacious and clean. The owner isn't always around. Guests can fix their own breakfast, and the supplies are provided, but there isn't table service. I'd say it's best for a short stay.
