Lisa was a delightful host, always patient, friendly and helpful, and easy to reach by WhatsApp or phone. Many thanks to her and her family for welcoming us. We stayed in her home in a very clean, inviting room with air conditioning and a private bathroom outside the room. The plentiful breakfast had a good variety of packaged foods. There’s a little terrace for eating breakfast or looking at Genoa’s starry sky. The house is about 10 minutes from the train station, and it worked well as a base for seeing the city, including Boccadasse, visiting the aquarium and Galata, and then finishing our weekend in San Fruttuoso.

We were welcomed by friendly hosts, and the Italian breakfast was delicious. The bedroom was spotless and had a great mattress, while the shared kitchen and bathroom were always clean too. There’s also a small terrace. It’s a perfect base for exploring Genoa on foot.

We’re so grateful for the helpful information about Genoa and the surrounding area. Every corner of the place has been furnished with care and attention to detail, and the host family made us feel so welcome. The location was fantastic, the room was clean, and the mattress was very comfortable. The bathroom is shared with the family, but it stayed so clean and fresh that we hardly noticed. There’s also a lovely little rooftop terrace, looking out over all the surrounding roofs and terraces. You’re doing a wonderful job.
