The terrace view is breathtaking, and the room is spacious. There’s a shared kitchen with one other room, a fridge stocked with juice, yoghurt and snacks, a dishwasher, and a private bathroom. It’s about a 10-minute walk from Principe Station, in a very central location. Breakfast was simple but good for getting an early start, especially before a train. The busy road nearby made it rather noisy, so it’s not ideal for light sleepers. It can also be tricky to find: enter the building, take the lift and go up to the seventh floor. A lovely place for a quick stop in Genova.

Franco was so helpful and gave us great recommendations. The room was amazing, the location was great, and breakfast was very good and brought right to our door. We had everything we needed and felt completely at home. The only drawback was some noise from the main road next door. We were very impressed.

Giovanni was a perfect host, and the rooms were nice, with a TV, Wi-Fi and air conditioning. Some have a sea view, and the bathroom was spacious. This small B&B is superbly placed in the heart of Genova, opposite the renowned Acquario, about a 10-minute walk from the centre and close to the train stations.

After more than 50 bookings, this was my worst experience. We arrived at the B&B and rang the bell, only to be told by the service woman Marta that they were overbooked and had emailed us that day. No, Marta, that email never even arrived. When we asked to come in and look for another room, we were turned away and left on the busy street with all our valuable luggage. If you want to sleep on the street, book this hotel.

Check-in was easy, and the beds were beautiful, clean and comfortable. They brought us breakfast in the morning, with a perfect mix of breads and protein. The view from the rooftop and the windows was breathtaking.
