The room was fine, but the staff left us feeling unwelcome, and we don’t want to return. They used WhatsApp to communicate during the stay and expected quick replies. The air conditioning didn’t work properly at first, and we got condensation from the staff about it. They did fix it on our second day.

The hotel is spread across two renovated old buildings, with lots of little steps and no straight hallways, which makes it quite unusual. You can’t drive right up to it, so there’s a short walk. Our taxi driver helped and guided us. The reception staff and others were very friendly, and breakfast was good.

We arrived in Genoa without a plan in May 2019 and came across this lovely hotel. The rooms were clean, modern and spacious, and we really liked the decor in both the room and shared areas. Having water and snacks on the floor was a nice touch. The staff were helpful, gave us a map and recommended places to eat. The help after we checked out impressed me most. Customs returned some souvenirs we’d shipped home to the hotel. Stephanie and IIaria were incredibly kind, quick, accommodating and compassionate as they coordinated with the shop where we’d bought them, in a different city, and got the goods back to us in perfect condition. I’ll always be grateful. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone. You won’t regret staying here.

Greta and Carola at reception were wonderful. Greta found us a room for the night after I got our dates wrong, and both of them booked restaurants each evening that were exactly to our taste. The rooms were comfortable, quiet and clean. My only small gripe was the lift, which was often in use and meant we had to wait. Definitely recommended.
