We stayed three nights at Sara's loft while traveling from Genoa to Palermo on the GNV ferry. It's in a fantastic spot close to both the center and the port. Via Garibaldi, the main shopping street, is a five-minute walk, and there are lots of historic buildings to explore. Public parking is available if you look around 😉, and there are also paid garages, as is typical in Genoa. Sara welcomed us warmly and was exceptionally kind and helpful. The apartment is lovingly furnished with antiques and had everything we needed. Since our ferry was delayed, a late checkout was no problem. Just be prepared for stairs in this 800-year-old building. We love you, Sara, and we'll be back. Kisses!

The apartment mixes antique furnishings from what used to be a convent with modern, pop-style pieces. We were welcomed very kindly, and the host even found us convenient parking. Its central location is handy for the old port, including the Aquarium and Galata, and for Via Garibaldi, a popular area for a walk.
