Hostel Ostello Bello Genova

I spent most of my time in the kitchen, using the free apples, bananas, vegetables, pasta, and even pesto. I picked fresh herbs from the garden for herbal tea. Being able to connect to Wi-Fi and write there is something I’ll remember for the rest of my life. My six-bed female dorm was on the loft level, which was easy enough to use, and had its own toilet and shower. It’s under a three-minute walk from the main station, with a bar, kitchen, and other facilities. Towels are available to rent for a small fee. Music from the downstairs bar was a bit loud at night on the second floor, and there are lots of events. I’m not someone who joins many, but I still had a wonderful stay and would love to come back.

Pasta night was great, and the friendly staff made us feel comfortable. The location worked well for trains, though that also meant more noise. Other guests ran around and screamed, and the road noise was bad too. Our room was average, but the bathroom was disgusting and didn't look cleaned. There were stains on the sheets, and we had to make the beds ourselves. We stayed one night at ostello bello genova and I don't think I would've stayed longer.

Karaoke night was a blast! The kitchen is fully equipped and free for guests to use. The hostel is right next to the station, but you can't hear outside noise. The staff were super friendly, and we had some nice chats with them in the kitchen. Had an amazing time here.

The staff's service was excellent, just like at other properties from this hostel chain where I've stayed. This one feels older and a bit more run down by comparison. Still, I had a positive experience. The room was a good size, the bed was comfortable, and each room has its own bathroom. There's a large common area downstairs, and upstairs the kitchen has free pasta, vegetables, and canned goods. The breakfast buffet is good value at around 8 euros.
