Breakfast had a great range of choices, and our double room was roomy, including the bathroom. It had AC, and there was a heater for the bathroom that just needed plugging in. The receptionist was very kind and looked after us well. When we said we planned to visit the Maritime Museum, he gave us a hotel flyer with a discount for it. We'd expected less before arriving, but were delighted with the hotel. It's close to the railway station and the area seemed fine. There are a lot of stairs to reach the entrance, though if you look left first, an outdoor elevator takes you straight to reception, which is handy with luggage. I really recommend it and would stay again.

The price felt fair for what you get, and the hotel was hard to fault. Our room had been renovated and was spacious, with a huge bathroom. It was clean and basic, but there was no minibar or tea and coffee setup. Breakfast was included, with a good selection that was kept topped up, plus a good coffee machine. The staff were friendly and helpful. Getting to the room is a little unusual: take the lift from a door in the small piazza to the lobby, then another lift from there. It's very close to the railway station, but the neighborhood didn't feel dodgy.

We got a warm welcome at this family-run hotel, which has been operating since 1963. Our room was spotless, and the others we peeked into looked just as clean. Room sizes vary. It’s in the centre of Genova, a few hundred yards from the main railway station, and breakfast was tasty and set us up well for the day. Highly recommended!

The receptionist here is consistently kind and professional. I haven't found the same level of service elsewhere. That alone is a reason to stay at this hotel in Genova.

The hotel is close to Principe Train station. My room faced away from the city view, so it was very quiet. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff were very kind.
