We could sit on the balcony in the evening and take in the countryside, and the room itself was cozy, spotless, and well kept, with no worn furniture or fixtures. The villa is peaceful, tucked among farms between Velletri and Genzano di Romano, and it’s easy to reach Castelli Romani, Lago di Nemi, Lago Albano, Aprilia, Anzio, and Nettuno from there. Sandro and Anna made us feel like old friends, and Sabrina, Martina, and Giordano were just as kind and helpful. They clearly care about what they do and were full of useful information. Breakfast had a huge range of things, including cold cuts, ciambelloni, tortas, nuts, breads, juice, coffee, yogurt, fruit, milk, biscotti, pastries, and more. They even made eggs for my wife, who has dietary restrictions. This B&B and its hosts were amazing. They went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed, and our stay near Castelli Romani was as relaxing and lovely as we could have hoped. We’d absolutely come back to Casale Ansamagi when we’re in the area.

The owners really went out of their way for me. After I got mixed up with a Rome taxi driver, they came to collect me and my luggage from a nearby village at no charge. When I arrived, there was a party by the pool, and they offered me drinks and great food. I was worn out from travelling, so the staff even brought a big, nicely laid-out plate of food to my room. The room was lovely and clean, with a view across green fields. It got very hot during the day and could use air conditioning, though they brought me a fan, and there’s a pool to cool off in. It’s a good spot to switch off and get away from the busy city. This B&B is in the middle of Italy’s lively farmland, and the warmth and hospitality were well beyond what I expected.

It’s a peaceful spot with really nice people. The rooms don’t have AC, which is the one drawback, but the pleasant rooms and bathroom help make up for it. There’s also a courtyard pool and a pool bar where you can bring your own food and drinks.

We needed somewhere to stay close by after our wedding, and chose this quiet farmhouse in the greenery for the evening before the big day with our bridesmaids and groomsmen. It worked out perfectly. The place has four rooms and is easy to get to. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and took care of everything we needed, from check-in and breakfast to the pool and getting ready. Highly recommended.
