Cortis Antigas

After staying in an impersonal high-end hotel, Cortis Antigas and its owners felt like such a welcome change. Ignacio and his family turned our whole vacation into what we'd hoped it would be, with their warmth, care, food, and the peaceful feel of the place. It's part of a family farm, and most of the fruit and vegetables come from there. We loved his brother's wine and cured meats, the sheep yogurt, homemade cheeses, almond cookies, and jams. He greeted us with a smile, gave us helpful directions, and offered so much unexpected friendliness and guidance. We're deeply grateful and hope to return for a longer stay.

The host was kind and easy to talk to, and we learned a lot about “old” Sardinia from him. He's an archaeologist and restored the house largely on his own, with help from local artisans. We stayed four nights in this lovely place, and breakfast was just right for us: lots of freshly picked fruit, homemade cheese, honey, and more.

I've been to Cortis Antigas twice in the past few months, and I still can't forget it. It's the most life-changing place I've ever visited, and Ignazio has made something truly special. From the beauty of Cortis Antigas to the incredible homemade food and the experiences Ignazio puts together for guests, it feels like nowhere else. I hope to return many more times. Don't visit Sardegna without stopping at Cortis Antigas!

Iganazio and his family have made a beautiful place, and they really did everything they could to make us feel welcome. The hotel is stunning, the food waiting for us and breakfast were incredible, and the village is lovely too. We had the best time and would absolutely recommend making the trip to stay here.
