We only had a short stay at Zembalo, but really enjoyed it. Our hosts were warm and accommodating. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re visiting Gesualdo.

The hospitality at Zembalo made our time in Gesualdo exceptional. Raffaele, you’re TOP!!! Thanks for your kindness and warmth. I stayed for 14 nights with my 3 young children, and the owner, Raffaele, went out of his way to keep us comfortable and make sure the kids had things to enjoy. I’ve visited the area many times, but he still suggested fabulous restaurants and places to see that were new to me. Breakfast was excellent, and he even checked whether I wanted anything special for the children. Our rooms were spacious and impeccably clean. I’ve traveled a lot, and the hospitality here was better than at any 5 star hotel. I highly recommend this accommodation. Thank you, Zembalo, for a great stay!

The rooms have comfortable beds, there’s a nice breakfast, and the host is welcoming. I also liked seeing so many original paintings on the walls. Da Peppino, the restaurant just up the street, is terrific too.

The breakfast is unbelievably delicious, and Raffaele’s mother makes it by hand. Raffaele is the best, with great suggestions for activities, food, and wine around the area. I love staying at Zembalo. Gesualdo is a beautiful town in the heart of Irpinia and well placed for exploring the area. If you’re planning a visit to this undiscovered part of the region, be sure to stay at Zembalo!
