Hotel Alexander

The rooms are spacious and tidy, and the hotel was even cleaner than I expected. The staff are very friendly. Special thanks to the smiling man at reception, who always made time to help us with advice on local markets, restaurants and nightlife. I think you'll recognize yourself, “five minutes knife”. Room 107 ❤️ Thank you for everything.

The quiet setting and clean, welcoming hotel made for a relaxing break. The pool was always clean, there weren't too many people around, and the air conditioning worked well. The staff were friendly, and room service plus the changes of bedding and towels were good. Breakfast was okay, but after 10 nights I got tired of the same options every day. I'd have liked more variety in the fruit, yogurt, cheese and meat selections.

Getting around was easy: the bus terminal is a three-minute walk away and takes you just about anywhere, while the beach is seven minutes on foot. Shops and restaurants are only two minutes away if you don't fancy the food at the hotel. Breakfast had what I needed. The room felt a bit dated but had air conditioning, a balcony, a safe and a clean toilet. The room and premises were kept very clean. Housekeeping, especially Octavio and Mary, deserve kudos. They were always smiling and ready to help. I'll definitely be back!

The staff left the strongest impression on me. Everyone was kind, attentive and professional, and Eugenio and Ottavio deserve special mention for their dedication, courtesy and care with the details. Their support made the stay feel genuinely welcoming. The rooms were spotless, comfortable and well maintained, and the calm atmosphere was a real plus. The location also made it easy to relax and explore the area. This hotel exceeded all my expectations. I can recommend it with confidence and look forward to coming back.
