The owner was really friendly, but didn’t speak English. The rooms were kind of a mess, sadly.

The staff were friendly and the service was good. Recommended.

We arrived to find a broken showerhead and a poorly cleaned kitchen. The coffee maker still had coffee from the previous guests, there were sauce marks on the cutlery, and even the dishes put away had stains. The gas cylinder was empty, and we waited two hours for a replacement. We’d asked for a high chair for our baby when booking, but were told there wasn’t one. After I sent a screenshot of the page saying one should be available, they quickly brought a used, disassembled chair to the building entrance. I had to carry it upstairs myself. Worst of all was the owner’s rudeness. Instead of apologizing, they contacted me and made me feel guilty for leaving a bad review.

The apartment was so overpriced for what it offered that we left after the first night, even though we’d booked two. Parking nearby was a nightmare, and we had to leave the car around the train station, about a kilometer away. The owner, whom I only dealt with on WhatsApp, then sent me obscene abuse through the booking platform’s messenger after I complained. A very interesting way to treat customers. We’d confirmed our arrival time twice, yet at 6:00 PM the apartment still wasn’t ready. The self-appointed manager arrived late, and two cleaners had only just started. The manager was friendly, though didn’t speak English, and told us to go for a walk for an hour. Inside, the furnishings were much more worn than the flattering photos on the booking site suggested. The walls were dirty, furniture was wobbly and in poor shape, the place was dark with old, poor lighting, and the kitchen was very old. One of the two beds had noticeably stained linen. The windows seemed new, but the street below was still noisy. We felt more like we were in a homestay in Southeast Asia than on a beach holiday in the European Mediterranean.
