After more than 200 Booking stays, this was one of my worst experiences. My family, including a baby, was left waiting outside while I called Booking beside the owner to check a €40 cleaning charge that wasn't in the booking email or anywhere on the website. Booking confirmed it wasn't due, and eventually the owner agreed to remove it. The owners were completely unfriendly and hostile throughout. They also asked for €50 for four white sheets, no blankets, and towels. I know supplements can cost extra, but that is a lot. We were charged €36 in tax as well, although Booking confirmed that wasn't due either because the price we'd paid included everything. There was also a €200 deposit. After I'd paid it, they messaged to say they would take the cleaning fee out of my deposit. I own an Airbnb myself, and being friendly and understanding matters most. The owners' attitude spoiled our stay. At checkout, the owner made a scene about the garbage being full and carried on as though we'd done something wrong. The place itself is nice, but don't spoil your holiday with these hostile hosts. You may not get your deposit back. Avoid at all costs!

Outside, the place is well kept, but the house itself wasn't usable. The gas cylinder was empty and hadn't been replaced before we arrived. There were no towels or shower gel, and the water heater was switched off. It was also dirty: sand on the floor, cobwebs on the ceiling, and mattress covers with stains and hair that hadn't been changed. The socks in the closet were dirty too. The shower looked as if it hadn't been cleaned for who knows how long. There were mosquitoes all over the house and pool area, so the place wasn't maintained to a good standard. The only good thing was the air conditioning.

This house wasn't fit for five people. It was missing towels, shower gel, and the other basic necessities. The only positives were the pool, air conditioning, and location. Everything else was a disgrace! The veranda was dirty and poorly maintained, and there were thousands of mosquitoes and cobwebs inside. We found used, smelly socks in the cupboard. The kitchen gas tank was empty. Sand and dust covered the floor, the mattress covers were dirty and full of hair, and the shower leaked over the edge.

The apartment felt cramped and a little too small for four people, though the pool was well maintained and the immediate surroundings were nice.
