We had a very nice stay. The hotel is very close to the beach, and breakfast was good. Staff were friendly. Parking was 10 euros a day, which helped a lot in August. The parking area was a few kilometers away, but the pickup arrangements were made very quickly.

We were very satisfied and will definitely return. The air conditioning worked perfectly, the bathroom was spotless, breakfast was excellent, and the cleanliness was superb. The location was excellent and it was peaceful at night. There was parking available nearby, which was great. We had a sea-view room for two nights at this charming hotel with lovely owners and staff. We've stayed in several hotels in Giardini, and this is one of the best. It deserves more than two stars in our view, as it was better than the three- and four-star hotels we've booked in southern Italy.

The hotel is spacious, with roomy rooms and a comfortable, elegant decor that we loved. We found the German owner very friendly, and her Italian husband is a nice guy. Sea-view rooms are the best. Breakfast is very good by Italian standards, with eggs, cold cuts, salami, cheese, rolls, cakes, rusks, yogurt, cornflakes, and fresh fruit, plus delicious coffee, orange juice, and water. An elevator is due to be installed next season. Supermarkets, restaurants, ice cream parlors, and lidos are all within walking distance, and Taromina is easy to reach by public bus or hop-on hop-off bus.
