The room in the photo is the one I stayed in during a work trip a couple of years ago. The proprietor was fantastic, very friendly and accommodating, even though their English was limited and my Italian was pretty basic. My only gripe was the nearby church bells: with the skylight open, they sounded as if they were ringing right inside the room.

The price seems almost impossible for the very good food and superb service here. One of the best places around, and a must when you're in town.

There are great fish and pizza choices, and the food is really good. Service was a little slow.

We were able to park right next door, which was a real plus, and breakfast was very good. The owners made us feel so welcome, and we had a great chat. They also gave us useful advice about finding good regional products around Giaveno. The hotel is well located, and the rooms are decent value. You can tell it has a history, but when we stayed in April it was perfectly comfortable. Thanks again for the hospitality. We'll come back when we're in the area!
