We had booked a ground-floor room or elevator access because my mother is 91 and can’t manage stairs. When we came back from dinner, the elevator was out of order. The manager first said it was switched off, then said it was broken and would be fixed, with someone sent to help. When I asked whether that meant every day, he said no and suggested we find somewhere else for the night, then return once it was repaired. At 10:30 pm, moving my mother between places wasn’t really an option, so I asked to cancel and get a refund since they couldn’t provide what we’d reserved. Instead, we were charged for all four nights, and the manager deleted his side of our WhatsApp conversation. I had taken screenshots. Getting there was difficult too. The place is far out in an industrial area, the roads are unlit, and the photos gave a misleading impression. Without seeing people walking out, we wouldn’t have known where to go. Two women at the spa desk weren’t part of the B&B. I saw an elevator and took the stairs up to check the room, which was small but clean. The walk from the parking area was long, so we went to dinner first to avoid making my mother do it twice. Be very cautious.

The staff were friendly, but the spa needed more care and attention. A shower gel and shampoo sample, for instance, would have helped. The changing room was tiny, damp, and offered no privacy, with just one shower. We were given one towel, without a bathrobe. When we arrived for Valentine's Day, nobody was there to greet us, and the staff only started turning on the facilities after we had gone in. The pool was freezing, the whirlpool barely running, and the sauna was at 60 degrees. It took two hours for it to reach 90. While we were in the Turkish bath, someone switched off the starry ceiling, apparently thinking it was empty. The neck massage waterfalls were turned off just after we got out of the pool. A little more attention would have made this feel like a decent spa.

I cancelled the booking after they changed the terms five days before Valentine's Day, and now finding another option is nearly impossible. Places are either full or charging crazy prices. The offer had clearly included accommodation, spa, and breakfast, and I had booked it in January for February 14th after being told on the phone it was the last room available. I got confirmation of the promotion. They mentioned I could pay extra for a private spa in the room, which I declined because the shared spa was fine. Then on February 9th, they messaged to ask if I wanted to add the spa for a fee. I pointed out that it was included, and they said the offer didn’t apply on February 14th. That hadn’t been mentioned in the ad or during the call. They ruined my evening.

The wellness center was easy to enjoy, with sensory showers, a Turkish bath, sauna, and those neck massage waterfalls we especially liked. The suite also felt distinctive and welcoming, with lots of attention to detail. Staff were consistently kind, professional, and ready to help with whatever we needed. Such a relaxing, enjoyable stay.
