Andromeda

The apartment doesn't match the landlord's amenities list. There was no mountain view, terrace, cable TV, or microwave. The TV was there but wasn't connected, so all you could see was the set itself. The radio and CD player seemed from the 19th century, as did the decorative-only fireplace. The iron worked, though it also seemed ancient. We found a washing machine from 1976, but it wasn't connected and we didn't dare switch it on. We couldn't find a safe either, perhaps it had been stolen. The sofa bed is really just a couch: its mattress is old and smelly, and basically nonexistent as a bed. The beds are uncomfortable too, with creaking wood at every small movement. There is no soundproofing, so we could hear the neighbors moving around, eating, and flushing the toilet. There's only one closet, already full of somebody's old stuff, leaving no room for your own things. Be careful if more than two or three people are staying. They say the apartment is for six, but with just that one half-filled closet, really?
