The room matched its description, and I was happy with it. The hotel’s location is convenient, and the restaurant served me an excellent dinner, though it has no connection to the hotel. Once I was dining there, the staff were charming and gracious. The trouble started when I arrived before the 4pm check-in time. The advert does make that time clear, but I expected to wait in the area that looked like part of the hotel. When the restaurant staff realized I was staying at the hotel, they sent me to a far corner of the building. I waited until 4:20 with no food or shade. Breakfast wasn’t to my taste, as it was all cakes, though I’m sure locals enjoy it. The place is what it says it is, but the way it’s presented can be misleading. It could possibly become a three-star place if the hotel and restaurant got together, but it isn’t there now. An unnecessary disappointment.

We stayed for one night and the food was delicious. The room was very nice too, though there were a few odd stains on the bed. The bathroom was okay, but it could have been better.

The staff were really friendly, and I had the best linguine alle vongole I’ve ever eaten. It’s a great stop on the way through Aosta toward northern Italy. The rooms are small but very clean, with a beautiful mountain view from the balcony.

Found stains on the sheets, and money and belongings were taken by the cleaner. People got sick with stomach problems after eating the food. There was no WiFi, more stains in the drawers, and a strange bathroom door leading to the owners’ room with things hidden away.

There’s no WiFi in the rooms. The cleaner lost my belongings, and the blanket made me itchy.
