B&B Samà

The owner was very kind, and we'd happily stay here again. Our room was spacious, breakfast was great, and the B&B is in a great spot near the city center.

We had a really good couple of days at Dimi House in Lecce. The service was very friendly, breakfast was great, and it's only a short stroll to the historic center. Parking is available underneath for €15 a day. Recommended.

A lovely lady looked after us. She only spoke Italian, but used Google translate to share all the information with me. She kindly let me park my Vespa in their garage. The room was beautiful, with a great bathroom, and breakfast was very nice too. I recommend this place!

Hotels.com handled our cancellation request quickly and even asked for the death certificate, which we sent. The owner of Dimi House never got back to us. My father-in-law had died two weeks earlier, and I had already written twice to cancel. When my husband called, there was a lot of shouting on the other end. He later told me the owner didn't want to deal with it and would be fine if Hotels.com approved the cancellation. I’m sure the place may be nice, but this was a terrible experience at a painful time. I’m married to a south Italian and have lived in Italy, so it felt like dealing with someone who simply didn’t care about doing a good job. Having to manage that while grieving felt like a slap in the face. We may finally make this trip someday, but I won’t stay here. Such a pity. I’m posting this again in 2025 after realizing my 2023 review was never published.
