The staff were lovely, breakfast was generous, and the rooms felt spacious and very good value. The B&B sits right in central Gioia del Colle in a charming historic building, yet it stays remarkably quiet. Thank you!

I slept so well here: my street-facing room closed up tight at night and was dark and silent. The place was exceptionally clean, breakfast was great, and the people were wonderful. There’s usually someone around, and it’s convenient for the town’s sights. Parking was fairly easy even in July, and it made a good base for seeing the wider area. Concetta seems to know everyone and can point you toward anything from restaurants to pharmacies. Concetta also went out of her way for me. On my first stay, a last-minute car rental problem left me in a muddle, and I forgot my credit card in the room. She found it under the bed and got in touch. When I came back for nine nights, I asked if an important package from my husband could be sent there. They were happy to help, even jumping out of the shower to call the mailman back! If I’m in the area again, I’ll stay at Il Grifone or their other B&B, Il Borgo. I don’t feel a need to try anywhere else.

The location is central and not far from the station. The owner was kind, and although breakfast meant walking to another B&B, it was very good.

Breakfast was very good, though we had to walk to another B&B for it. The owner was kind, and the place is centrally located, not far from the station.
