Hotel Delizia

For a budget hotel, this one comes close to perfect. Our room had a comfortable double bed for this price range, a large wardrobe, a small desk and chair, a TV, and an ensuite shower. The bed had nightstands on both sides, which was handy. We didn’t try the TV. The air conditioning worked, which mattered to us as a couple not used to Italian summer heat. It cost extra, but was well worth it. Staff were helpful, and our room was made on the first morning. It would have been made again the next morning too, but we asked them not to. The hotel is in a quiet residential area surrounded by houses and other hotels. It’s a short walk to Rimini’s main promenade and the nearby beach, and about a 15 minute walk from the train station. My only small complaints were the lack of a shower curtain and WiFi that seemed to work only at reception. Maybe it reached rooms on lower floors, but our top-floor room had no signal.

What a nice surprise. We don’t usually trust reviews and prefer to see for ourselves. Rimini is a beautiful city, and this hotel made us feel at home too. The staff were polite and welcoming, and the accommodation was clean and comfortable. We highly recommend it and will come back.

The staff were really friendly, and the place was clean. You can hear people through the walls, though. For the price and the great location, it works if all you need is a bed and a shower. It depends on what you’re expecting.

The breakfast was awful, with nothing to eat besides bread and jam. Our room was dirty when we arrived, there were no towels, and the water tap was broken. There wasn’t a shower cabin, and the toilet had no lid, which was especially awkward with a child. We complained, but after three days the only thing provided was a toilet lid, so at least we didn’t have to put paper on the rim. Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Don’t go there.
