My Place Hotel

The one good thing was the location, fairly close to the beach. Otherwise, our room wasn't ready when we arrived, and there was nowhere to leave our luggage after early checkout. Staff said the hotel was closing, even though it stays open all day, and I couldn't keep the room for a few more hours. Some rooms have a fridge and others don't. Reception staff sold beer at different prices, as if some were adding a tip: a small one cost either 4 or 5 euros depending on who served it. Shameful.

We stayed three nights and had a really good time. The rooftop bar is a fun spot for a sunset cocktail, and we enjoyed the pool too. It's just a few minutes to the beach, while the old town takes around 15-20 minutes on foot. The interior is stylish, our room was very clean, and breakfast was very good. The bed was comfortable, though the bathroom looked dated beside the trendier decor. The staff were friendly and helpful when the air conditioning leaked a little and wasn't very strong. In hot weather it only cools the room slightly. There was no fridge either, so we couldn't keep cold water in the room, which would've helped on warm nights. I'd recommend the hotel.

My Place was such good value for what we got, and we'll be back next year. The room was incredibly clean, thanks to a fantastic cleaner, and breakfast was excellent, with plenty of sweet and savory choices. Staff made coffee for us and were welcoming and helpful, and they spoke English. The hotel sits on a quiet, safe street close to the beach and main beach area. They have an arrangement with two equipped beaches, where two sunbeds and a parasol cost €20 for the day, a good Rimini price. We recommend beach 24. Grazie mille, My Place Hotel!

The parking gate was a hassle since only the receptionist could open it, and that often took ages. Breakfast could be improved. Still, it was reasonably priced and well located, near the beach and not too far from the old town.
