Casa Jare

The terrace had a beautiful view, with the Aeolian Islands visible in the distance. The house itself was airy and cozy, with a roomy living area, an eat-in kitchen, and a bedroom with a mattress that made it easy to rest after beach days. We stayed in Apartment C for five days with our cat, and Giusy was incredibly accommodating about traveling with a pet. We used her hospitality as a base to explore San Giorgio, Gioiosa Marea, and Capo d'Orlando. Everything was just right, from the directions and accommodation to the setting. Giusy is welcoming and discreet, and happy to share tips about nearby beaches and places to visit. It’s a good spot for a getaway without being too far from Palermo, with accessible beaches, delicious granitas, and a welcoming feel that surprised us. The value for money was excellent too. All in all, top marks!

It’s a large, tidy, clean apartment, tastefully furnished and comfortable, just like home. There’s parking on the property, and Giusy is always available with information or advice. The terrace is wonderful and looks out over the Aeolian Islands. The location is away from the crowded areas but still within easy reach of beaches and several historical sites. Excellent overall.

Apartment C has a wonderful terrace overlooking the Aeolian Islands, with tables and loungers, plus a built-in and wood kitchen. It sleeps four and has mosquito nets on every window, so you don’t have to worry about bites. The apartments are spacious, clean, and well equipped, and each balcony or terrace has a breathtaking island view. Casa Jare is a great place for a holiday, close to the sea but surrounded by greenery. Giusi is friendly, kind, discreet, and helpful, and I really enjoyed chatting with her. She even let us bring our cat. There’s a nice spot to relax in the garden and a play area for children. By car, you can get to the area’s loveliest places, beyond just the sea, and there are several agritourisms nearby serving local food. Giusi, we can’t wait to come back!

From Casa Jare, the sunsets over the sea with the Aeolian Islands behind them were a real treat, and we had a very relaxing stay. The nearby beaches were lovely, especially the one at San Giorgio, a little town with everything you might need. Giusi was warm, attentive, and full of useful tips about places worth seeing. We’d love to come back.
