Hotel Corallo Calavà

This is a good place to get away from everyday life. The food was good, and they were always ready to accommodate requests. Our rooms were clean, with breathtaking views of the sea. The sea itself is beautiful. A heartfelt thanks to Germana, Siria, and Andrea for always adding life to our stay.

The view was beautiful, the service was excellent, and everything was super clean. The kitchen was the only disappointment: nothing special, and often just not good. Breakfast in particular needed more choices. Still, it was a very relaxing, quiet weekend.

The view was the one good thing. We came for what should have been a relaxing mini-break, but it turned into a nightmare. We’d seen some really positive reviews before booking, but now I’m wondering if they were fake. The food was by far the worst part. The ingredients were extremely poor quality and the dishes were inedible, so we had to go out to find food. Breakfast was very limited too, with croissants brought out only five at a time every 15 minutes. Our room was more or less clean, but there was no mattress topper.

The sea view is incredible and the beach is easy to reach. The hotel was clean, but the food was a real problem. We’d booked full board and still ended up having to eat out every time. Breakfast was minimal and only sweet, with croissants replenished five at a time. We had dinner there once: the pasta was terrible, like hospital pasta with cream. The main course tasted good, but was hard to eat with our eyes open. A nice buffet would have been better, at least with more choice of starters. The animation was nonexistent, and please don’t call that little tub a swimming pool. The reception staff and the cleaning deserve credit. Such a shame.
