Marilena made us feel at ease right away. She gave us useful advice and, since the next guests weren’t due soon, let us check out a little later so we could have one more swim in the beautiful sea of ​​Gioiosa. It was a really positive stay, and I highly recommend this B&B. The location is central, and parking was fairly easy in July. There are enough rooms for a family-friendly feel. At the entrance, the shaded garden with plants, chairs, and tables is a lovely little welcome. Our room was bright, spacious, and clean, with two small but welcome balconies. The beds and mattresses were in good condition. The antique-style furniture was elegant, not the chipped 1960s Formica kind you might find elsewhere. It’s not luxurious, but it has a certain elegance. The bathroom was just right and had everything we needed, even laundry detergent for an emergency wash. A small touch that shows how much attention they pay to guests. The TV had few channels, which could be an issue for kids who need cartoons, though I don’t think adults would mind. The price is competitive.

It’s such a shame. These are beautiful places with so much natural and tourist potential, but it feels like they’re letting everything fall apart. At this B&B, as in most of the area, I found shocking neglect and indifference. A little more effort could bring real benefits for tourism and the local economy. 🤦🤷

We stayed one night with our Corso puppy. The rooms and bathrooms were spacious, and parking is available close by, though there aren’t many spots. There’s no breakfast, but you can get coffee or cappuccino from the vending machine at reception.
