We had a wonderful two-week stay in July at Villa Eoliana, a detached house set a little apart from the other terraced properties. The outdoor area was tidy and lovely, but the real magic was upstairs on the terrace. At night it became a place to just sit and take in the stars and moon reflected on the sea. It was a marvelous sight. The house had everything we needed for cooking, including a complete outdoor kitchen to keep smells out of the house, and comforts like air conditioning and deckchairs. There’s plenty to admire nearby, along with folkloric evenings to experience. Thanks especially to Mary at reception and Carmelo the lifeguard. Their kindness and helpfulness meant they always took care of anything we needed. Thank you so much.

Mary at reception was so kind and available, and I really appreciated her help. We stayed in the Gelso cottage a few meters from the sea. It had what we needed for cooking and for a comfortable stay, including air conditioning and deckchairs. We had a lovely holiday, though a problem during the last two days meant we had to leave two days early.

The best part of Casa Cafisi was the people. Mary at the front desk, Carmelo on the beach, and Michele from maintenance were helpful and courteous, and made us feel looked after. Sergio and Marco, who have been coming for years with their families, were also lovely company on the beach. The apartment is comfortable and the view is priceless, but the air conditioning and boiler are very dated. Both needed maintenance on arrival, and getting hot water into the shower took several tries and a long wait every day. The staff make up for some of the property's neglect.

The place is lovely, but it needs mosquito nets. It's up on a hill overlooking the sea, even though Google makes it look like it's right by the water.
