Tenuta Dorolivo Guest House e B&B

A lovely countryside escape, and very kid friendly. The location is nice, breakfast was great, and the friendly hosts have put a lot of care into the details. The rooms were comfortable, and some have an outdoor jacuzzi in the garden.

The setting is what makes Tenuta Dorolivo so special. Staying among the quiet olive trees felt cozy and peaceful, while still being stylish. It’s an ideal base, just a 10-minute drive from the heart of Otranto. We were in the second house, completed only a couple of months earlier. Our room was brand new, spotless and beautifully decorated, with thoughtful extras like a Bluetooth speaker. Francesco and his team were welcoming, helpful and always around. Breakfast deserves a mention too, I had the best omelet I’d had in ages. We highly recommend this gem for a serene stay, whether short or long.

It’s a peaceful, warm place, well situated for exploring the area. We loved how beautiful and spotless the property was, and how clearly it’s cared for with love. Francesco and Gian Maria were so kind and welcoming, with generous breakfasts, thoughtful recommendations and lovely stories about the region. It would be ideal for relaxing or hosting retreats. We couldn’t have asked for more and will definitely be back.

The breakfast was the cherry on top, with plenty of variety in a lovely setting. We slept so well thanks to the incredible quiet and fantastic bedding. The rooms were the best we saw anywhere in Italy, and the host was super friendly and welcoming. I thought it might not live up to its 5 stars, but wow, what a gem. We wouldn’t hesitate to return.
