We paid €90 per person per night for half board, and on our third visit to this hotel, the four of us were suddenly put in one room hundreds of meters from the hotel. The beds looked like they were from the 60s. I’ve been to Italy almost every year, often more than once, and this was unreal for 2024. See the pictures of the beds. The first dinner was fish fingers and rice, only mildly warm. Then on the second morning, breakfast was only available from 7:00 or 7:30 until 8:30. The clocks had changed the night before, and there was no other option.

For a week in Pinzolo with my girlfriend, we had a very pleasant stay. The staff were cordial and accommodating, especially matteo. You see the same people throughout the week, and they’re working hard, so please give them some slack. The hotel could do better with breakfast options and room decor, but those are small things. It’s a good fit if you want to enjoy Pinzolo. If you’re after a luxury resort, one of the other places in the area may suit you better.

The staff were fabulously helpful and patient with our needs while we were here for summer camp, and the location is great. But after 20 days, I noticed they had become short with us and seemed less happy to have us there. It’s especially disappointing because this is somewhere we visit repeatedly. The vegetarian meals were appalling, and twice I skipped meals because the quality was so poor. Breakfast was a joke too, with no fresh fruit or coffee, and we had to pay for those. I don’t know if that was their breakfast or #Giocamindos. Some of the waiting staff made rude sexist remarks before they got to know us. The WiFi at Casal BnB was down more often than it worked. There was never water available for the children, even in a jug for them to refill, and they were charged €1 for a glass.

The room was warm, clean, and the double bed was comfortable, though it was a bit small, with little space to unpack. The shower was tiny too. Breakfast had a good range, and the staff were very nice.
