Getting around was easy: the hotel is a short walk from Termini, with good public transport connections. We slept well on comfortable beds, and the room was spacious, especially by Rome standards. The bathroom was clean and had what we needed, and the Wi-Fi worked fine throughout. We had no noise or privacy problems even though, like many places in Rome, the hotel shares a building with other hotels. Staff were decent and spoke enough English to make communication easy. Breakfast was included but basic. The elevator was tiny, though that didn't come as a surprise in Italy. A solid stay for the price, and I’d stay here again.

I booked directly with the hotel, then noticed that Booking.com had the property for less. When I made my reservation, the site showed a Best Rate Guarantee banner, so I emailed to ask the hotel to match that rate. The reply led me to believe the guarantee was false advertising, and I was told to book somewhere else. So I cancelled and did exactly that, finding another hotel to book directly with and give my business to.

The bathroom had been updated, and although the room was older, it was in good condition. Breakfast was enough to get the day started, with a nice machine that made different coffees. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. I'd stay here again.

The hotel is on the fourth floor, and its elevator barely fits two people. The room and bathroom were both small, though clean, and the air conditioning only worked marginally. Breakfast was good and the coffee excellent. It was a very good value for one night, with a quick walk from the train terminal and major attractions.

The location was perfect, and our room was clean with good daily housekeeping. Breakfast tasted good, but they put very little food on the shared plate. That might be enough for one family, but if another arrives, they have to wait for more. The concierges could have been friendlier.
