Chef Mauro deserves a thumbs-up, the food was amazing! This small, charming family restaurant had wonderful staff who seemed carefully chosen, and the owner was such a sweetheart. From the moment we came in, the whole experience felt five-star. If you're staying near Lake Garda, I'd recommend a visit. Try the local house wine, Riveria Del Garda Classico, Rosso Superiore, Rubinere Del Don Lisander 2020.

We were staying across from this restaurant and were so glad we tried it. The food was the best we had in Italy, with incredible homemade pasta. Get the gnocchi! Everything tasted delicious, and the service stayed cheerful even though our Italian was only sometimes right.

We had a wonderful dinner at Trattoria Agli Angeli, which our hotel had recommended. They offered us a welcome drink, and the staff were terrific and very friendly. We met Patrizia, who was charming and absolutely lovely. The inn is beautifully placed at the top of the hill in the heart of Garden City, in what felt like the country's most romantic square, between the Botanical Garden and Il Vittoriale. The Pellegrini family has owned it since 1976, and sisters Patrizia and Elizabetta now run it. Cari saluti Alessandro!

The view over the quiet piazza was lovely, and the service was top drawer. The kids were happy with their pasta, while we enjoyed a great dinner and amazing Prosecco, wines, and moscato. This was the highlight of Lake Garda for us, with the best food we had there.
