Don Michele Apartments

A pretty large apartment with everything equipped, and a super nice host. Definitely recommend it.

Maria is lovely and very kind, always available to help make your stay as pleasant as possible. The apartment was spotless and easy to reach by car, just a few kilometers from Gizzeria Lido beach. The property has four very spacious apartments, each with two bedrooms and a roomy open-plan kitchen and living area. They're nicely furnished with modern furniture and all the amenities. I highly recommend it.

The apartment was large and well cared for, with two bedrooms, a big bathroom, a huge kitchen-diner, and several balconies. It's close to the sea, and the owners speak German. The standard is on par with Germany, and we felt very comfortable. A bread knife and cutting board would be useful.

We've stayed at Don Michele Apartments for three summers in a row and plan to keep coming back. Maria is a wonderful host, the apartments are comfortable and well equipped, and she's always available to sort things out if something goes wrong. She's also a great source of local information. Since she speaks four languages, she can welcome guests from all over Europe. Gizzeria Lido is only a few kilometers away and has a magnificent beach. There's usually a moderate breeze, which is ideal for sailing sports, especially kitesurfing, windsurfing, and wingfoiling. It's a few minutes by car. A bike path is being built that should let you cycle there directly from outside the apartment, with just a few easy pedals on flat ground. Lamezia Terme train station on the high-speed line and Lamezia Terme International Airport (SUF) are both a short drive away. The airport has summer connections to major European capitals and Toronto. There's a well-stocked supermarket a few kilometers away, and plenty of nearby restaurants and bars serving regional and Italian food, including pasta, pizza, fish, and meat. Some beach bars put on themed nights and concerts with well-known Italian artists for younger visitors. That's pretty much everything you could ask for in a family vacation!
