We spent a few days here to get away from the stress and hectic pace of city life, and it’s hard to imagine a better place for that. We stayed at this fantastic B&B from July 29 to August 5, 2023, and the owners welcomed us warmly: Daniela, her daughter Adrina, and her husband, Marco. What stayed with me most was Mrs. Daniela’s attention to making guests feel at home. One morning around 7:30, she surprised us with a warm tart fresh from the oven, filled with grape jam she had made herself. Incredible, the sort of thing you don’t even find in Michelin-starred restaurants. Another day at lunch, she treated us to warm focaccia with several flavors, which was a real delight. I’ve read nearly all the other guests’ reviews, and they’ve already covered the property, the helpful owners, and the beautiful surroundings, so I won’t repeat all that. If you’re after a few days by the sea, there are plenty of well-equipped beach resorts along the coast, including in the direction of Falerna, just a few kilometers from Gizzeria Lido. This B&B deserves a very high rating, and we’ll definitely return.

We came by during olive harvest and went home with a tin of SUPERLATIVE oil. It’s a beautiful place, the welcome was perfect, and the food was excellent.

The owners were so clean, efficient, and helpful, and Daniela's breakfast was a lovely way to start the day. Set among greenery, it's a peaceful spot for meditation and unwinding, and a handy base for exploring Calabria from the Tyrrhenian to the Ionian and from Aspromonte to Pollino. Thanks so much for looking after us. I hope to see you again soon!
