The room and the owner were lovely, and I appreciated the hospitality. I did want to mention a couple of things that could be useful to know. Breakfast was wrapped croissants, jam, chocolate spread, and packaged toast. That felt too limited to count as breakfast, especially since my pregnant partner and I hoped for something more substantial before our long drive across the island. The booking photos may give a different impression, so clearer information would help. When our delayed flight meant we arrived after check-in, we were grateful to be offered sandwiches late in the evening, but the one we got had mold and a bite taken out of it. I think these issues were probably one-offs or easy to fix, and I'd stay longer another time. In my edit, I also want to say I didn't appreciate being called a 'keyboard Lion' when I was trying to help the host and others considering a short stay because of the airport location. I hadn't realized a Bed and Breakfast could have such limited breakfast choices. As I said, the room and hospitality were very nice, and I think my comments were fair. There's no need to get defensive; I wasn't criticizing the hospitality.
